Levels of Reiki

Reiki 1

Reiki begins by starting with the Self. The first level of Reiki begins to awaken the conscious being as they surrender to a higher power. It is the acknowledgement of a higher intelligence and welcoming in this Loving Light to guide your every day life. At the beginning, you learn the history and foundation of this two-folded practice seeing that the roots of Reiki are spiritual as well as healing. Primarily, Reiki 1 gives you the ingredients to build a daily self practice that enriches all areas of your life, introducing you to the Reiki precepts and simple techniques to help turn your focus inward. You’ll also learn the basic hand placements for treating others.

Reiki 2

As you strengthen your connection to Reiki and the lineage of this practice, it shows you that it is possible to provide a new found sense of comfort and care on four different layers of your being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. In Reiki 2, you are introduced to the symbols of Reiki and learn how these powerful tools may assist us to tap deeper into the many different qualities and facets of this healing energy. You will also learn that Reiki can be done at a distance through a meditative space. This practice will help you to embody the wisdom of compassion and show you how to guide others inward to a place of wholeness and inner peace.

Advanced

At this part of the journey, Reiki becomes a way of Life. Your sessions become more intuitive as your awareness of the energetic channels begin to grow and the understanding of how everything is interconnected is reflected in everything you do. Each breath, every footstep, and heartbeat becomes healing. You’ll start to address some of the deeper spiritual layers within yourself and a newfound sense of Self may emerge. This will allow you to hold space for others in new ways as you learn different techniques and incorporate them into your healing sessions.
