Reiki Ryoho is a Japanese art form which translates to Soul Energy. Rei means something mysterious, miraculous, and sacred. Ki means the energy of the universe. It is the highly intelligent, inexhaustible, and unlimited Source of energy at the center of all life. Please read the What is Reiki section to understand more of this healing modality.

Reiki I, also known as Shoden, translates to beginning teaching. The student receives an attunement to initiate them into this spiritual and healing practice. The first degree of Reiki opens the door to invite the mystical into their life, providing simple and effective teachings to help the student learn how to apply this practice to their every day life. This course teaches the student how to give Reiki to themselves and others with a heavy focus on self treatments and building a relationship with Soul Energy.

Becoming Reiki certified is the first step to learning how to bring balance to the heart-mind connection. It is through learning the history and connecting with the roots of this Japanese practice, that a strong, foundational, and grounded approach is embodied.

On the day of this course, we will go over the history, the principles and the hand positions. There will be an attunement at the start of the training and again later on. We will be together for about 4 hours with a 15min snack/bathroom break so please allot this time for yourself. It will serve to be in a quiet space where you can immerse yourself in the teachings and practice without disruptions.

The cost of this course is $250 and as always there is a sliding scale option available for anyone who needs it.
